The pretty little cementary that hosts a beautiful home for our fellow feathered friends, and of course boasts beautiful grounds for our loved ones? Well if you don't know, go visit. Go ahead, you can leave right now, this post will be here when you get back.

So how was the trip? The serenity and peace this place exudes is powerful & comforting; if you didn't make the drive over (like you should have!), here are some beautiful shots to hold you over before you go.

I was meeting up with one of my friends to catch her [irresistibly cute!!!] son in action at the Riverfront, in downtown Cuyahoga Falls, and what a day it was: scorcher. Good thing there was plenty of water for this kiddo to run around in & stay cool;)

 

Professional; this boy knew what to do. As soon as he saw the camera, he was all smiles:)

The weekend really flew by, did it not? I mean, it always flies by, but this time more so than usual! Maybe it had something to do with the fact I started my last (and final!) class & I'm still acquainting myself with the new schedule? Who knows, but what I do know, I was utterly exhausted all weekend!! Honestly, I just never woke up Saturday morning. We made it over to Steve & Diane's for a pool party:

...but other than that, sheer exhaustion! I probably went to bed a little after 9pm & didn't wake up until a cool 13 hours later?!

& yes! The above shot was taken with the new lens:-D & no, I didn't really take any other shots...Well, I mean I took a ton, but was more less acclimating myself with the lens & varying camera settings. I'll have more, later;)

Today I took the Canon out in search for the perfect photo shoot location for my next mini session [with probably one of the cutest little boys...EVER].

derby days are here again=)

Alright, alright - An admittedly, extremely, LATE post on my beloved Kentucky Derby affair; and if my tardiness didn't spoil things, then my sheer lack of pictures will - SIGH. Pictures, or no pictures, the Derby was everything I wanted it to be (although I could have done without the heat...I could always go without the heat. It could be Fall all year long in my book - Anyway(!)).... onto the pics (the few that I have):

Welcome to the Valley!

The Valley Cafe that is:)  If you haven't had the pleasure of visiting, a trip is an absolute must! It's a quaint, small joint with friendly people, good food & oldies sounding in the background. A good place to sit & enjoy a cup o' Jo & comforting, home cooked, food. Can't give enough praise to this little establishment that's been feeding mouths since 2008...Now, off to get my omelette on - Happy Saturday!
